Meet the team! Ok, so it's just me and my trusty starter, but we work pretty well together!
This little bakery started with a mason jar of wild starter on my counter and a deep love for real bread and goodies— the kind that takes time, and makes your whole house smell like home. The kind that you can memorize and pronounce ALL of the ingredients. All of this motivated by having our first little!
I bake in small batches in High Shoals, GA using naturally leavened dough, long fermentation, and local ingredients whenever I can. Every loaf is hand-shaped, scored, and baked right here — usually before the babies are up, often with coffee in hand, always with heart. We offer a variety of goodies that aren't sourdough based as well, but are just as fresh, warm and yummy.
At Rolling Shoals Bakery, I believe what isn’t in your food matters just as much as what is. That’s why we’re committed to using high-quality, thoughtful ingredients in every item we bake.
✨ What you won’t find in our baked goods:
🚫 Seed oils — we use only real butter, avocado oil, or coconut oil
🚫 Soy — no soy products, ever
đźš« Synthetic dyes or preservatives
🚫 Excess refined sugar — we sweeten gently with honey and unrefined sugars whenever possible
Because if I wouldn’t feed it to my family, I won’t send it to yours.
